Huahine “The Wild Island “as some calls it now, became the most mystic destination of Tahiti and Her Islands. It’s population, it’s geography and history will put a spell on oneself during it’s stay.

Huahine is located 110 miles North West of Tahiti in the society islands. Various ships and planes serves this island regularly and is equipped with modern structures and many stores where one can purchase current produces. You would also find 3 banks, a post office.

Couple of car, scooter, bicycles are proposed by the rental agencies. The main village is called Fare and reflects the dully south seas port.

Huahine was an ancient volcano where it’s centre has collapsed and has been flooded by the sea.

This island of 75 Km2 is now separated into two mountainous massifs, Huahine Nui (Great Huahine) and Huahine Iti (Little Huahine) by the bays of Maroe and Bourayne and protected by a turquoise lagoon and accessible by 5 main passes.

The same language is spoken within the society island with very little difference. Huahine, however is distinguish from the others by it’s rare landscape, sculptured into little valleys and multiple bays like it’s 8 main villages where the houses are close one to another with different image.
